Randy David Millbern passed away on February 23, 2025, at Slidell Memorial Hospital. His journey began on May 10, 1960, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Randy was a proud veteran who honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. During his service, he acquired the skills of a diesel mechanic, a trade that he continued to cultivate throughout his life. His dedication to his craft and commitment to excellence inspired many around him.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Randy had a passion for fishing, which brought him great joy and an opportunity for relaxation. He was also known for his remarkable storytelling ability, engaging friends and family with tales from his life. Most cherished were the moments spent teaching his grandson about mechanics, instilling in him the same love and respect for the trade that Randy had carried throughout his life.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Munsch Millbern; his step-daughter, Jennifer Johnson; and his step-grandsons, Jacob, Julian, and Jax Johnson. He is also survived by his sister, Susan M. Creech; his brother, Roy D. Millbern Jr.; and his sister, Jody M. Brown. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy D. Millbern Sr.; his mother, Marie Clavin Millbern; and brother, Robert Dennis Millbern.
Randy's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, service, and passion for life will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
