Ramona V. Jeanfreau nee Boteler

Ramona Veronica Jeanfreau nee Boteler, born March 10, 1943, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 peacefully and comfortably in her Lacombe home at the age of 81. She was a homemaker and the spouse of deceased Vietnam Veteran, Philip Roy Jeanfreau, Sr. A native New Orleanian, Ramona lived much of her life in Germany, Illinois, and throughout the United States. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Ann Jeanfreau and Crystal Renee Thomas nee Jeanfreau; her son, Philip Roy Jeanfreau, Jr.; her son-in-law, Jeffrey Thomas and her daughter-in-law, Rose Marie Jeanfreau nee Melendez. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Brittany Cooper nee Patterson, Julien Varnado, and Kirsten Gerald nee Jeanfreau as well as 5 great-grandchildren.

Ramona loved to travel and grow plants, was an avid reader and enjoyed playing board games. She was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and never swayed from her faith. 

As we struggle with our loss, we will forever carry her in our hearts and celebrate her life. 

A private memorial for Ramona will take place at a later date.

Ramona was a passionate donor of St Jude Hospital and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude be made.
