Philip Gary Nasca passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at his home in Lacombe, Louisiana. He was 69 years old.
Philip was born December 20, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of the area.  Philip had a lifelong love of spending time by the water and with his dogs. Some of his other hobbies included antique cars and photography. He was always one for a good practical joke and loved making others laugh and bringing joy. He was loved by his wife, his mother, his family and many friends over the years.

He is survived by his loving wife and partner of over 50 years, Sue Ballam Nasca, and by his mother, Seraphine DiCarlo Cannizaro.
Philip is also survived by his brothers, John Cannizaro and Michael Cannizaro Jr., sister-in-law Ann Cannizaro, and a host of nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Nasca, and Stepfather, Michael (Mike) Cannizaro Sr.

Burial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the organizations that were most important to Philip: ASPCA, Lighthouse for the Blind of Louisiana and Louisiana School for The Hearing Impaired and Deaf.
