Peyton Glenn Garlepied

July 6, 1999 — December 15, 2024

Lacombe, Louisiana

Peyton Glenn Garlepied, born on July 6, 1999, in Covington, Louisiana, went home to our God on December 15, 2024, at the age of 25. He went surrounded by his loving family after a short, but tremendously difficult battle.

Peyton was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Jessie, and a loving father to their son Luca (3), along with their second son, Toby, expected to arrive in January. He was the son of Daniel Garlepied and Stacey Frizzell and stepson to Bonner Frizzell. Peyton was also a beloved son in law to Jerry and Wendy McQueen. Peyton was survived by his siblings: Presley Boler, Patrick Garlepied, Paige Garlepied, Caden Frizzell, and Landon Frizzell. He was the grandson of Albert and Margie Cromp and Judith Ann Senac Garlepied, as well as the step grandson of Stephanie Frizzell.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Clarence Garlepied.

He was an electrician by trade; and Peyton approached his work with passion and dedication. He loved learning and improving his skill set. He spent most of his life in Bush, Louisiana before he and Jessie moved to Lacombe to establish roots and begin their own family. Peyton found his greatest joy in the love of his family and was deeply devoted to Jessie and Luca. He was eagerly awaiting their new arrival, Toby as well.

Those who knew Peyton will remember him for his warm personality, quick wit, and remarkable sense of humor that could make anyone smile no matter the situation. He had a love for life and those closest to him are blessed with an unforgettable and everlasting impression.

May Peyton’s memory bring comfort and strength to all who loved him. In honor of his wishes, let us celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing. Smile as you read this, versus the expected pain and tears, as this is how Peyton would have wanted it.

Ceremonies for Peyton will be private, as we believe this would have been his wish. Peyton would want everyone to remember him for who he was.

In lieu of flowers, a go fund me account has been set up for Jessie and his boys as they will need assistance whilst they enter this new transition in their lives without their beloved Peyton.
