Penny Wells

Penny D. Wells, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2022 at the age of 53. Penny was a loving wife to her soulmate of 35 years to Gerald "Jay" Wells, Jr. Her pride and joy was her son, Andrew L Wells. She was preceded in death by her angel baby Kim Wells, her parents Allen and Noellie "Poupee" Gauthreaux, her father in law Gerald L. Wells Sr, her brother in law Michael Wells, her grandparents Leslie and Celine Dias, her grandparents in law, Kenneth and Edith Holmes and Lorraine and William Wells. She is survived by her mother in law Frances Wells, also survived by her siblings Allen Gauthreaux Jr (Cathy), Kim Carpenter, Rose Piazza (Steve), Ronnie Zacharias (Jennifer), Noel Eisenhardt (Stephen). She was the best Aunt to Christopher, Michelle, Shayne, Killian, Kirkland, Michael and Jeremiah. She leaves behind godparents Eddie and Cathy Dias. She will be cherished by many great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and missed by many friends, Penny was a home health caregiver for Right at Home, where she was cherished by those she took care of. There are no words to express how much Penny will be missed by her family. She will forever be remembered, for her zest for life, the love she had for her family, she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and could be found on any type of parade route, Mardi Gras was her favorite time of year. Penny will continue to give life as a organ donor.

Penny's family and friends are invited to attend a service at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, November 12th, Visitation will be from 11-2 with a service to begin at 2, located at 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA
