Peggy Magnano

Peggy DiCarlo Magnano, 61, passed away with her daughter and niece and their spouses by her side on Sunday, July 11, 2021 following complications from a long battle with respiratory illness. Known for her kind heart, big brown eyes and soft voice, she was a friend to many. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 14, 1960 to the late Edward and Helen DiCarlo. She is the sister of the late Robin DiCarlo and Jill Pohlmann and is survived by her remaining sisters, Sandra Nettleton, Jane Maltese and Linda DiCarlo. She is also survived by her loving daughter, Amy Charrier Cantrell (Thad) and her two grandchildren, Taylor Cuccia and Alayna Cantrell as well as a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
On Tuesday, July 20th between 11am-2pm, family and friends are invited to attend a church service in her honor at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd, Violet, LA 70092. Any flowers may be sent to the church that morning.
