Paula Laseter

Paula Louise (Cothern) Laseter, a life-long resident of Louisiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 59. Paula was always known as “Mama Paula” or simply, mom. Paula is preceded in death by her husband Gary Laseter, father Albert Cothern, mother Margaret Louise (Fowler) Cothern, and brothers Warren and Norman Broussard. Surviving family members include son Jason Harold, daughters Jennifer Moore and Stacy Laseter, granddaughter Molly Moore, her sister Helen Mosbey and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paula took pride in her work as school crossing guard at Alton Elementary for 6 years and as security guard at Washington Parish Jail. She adored the New Orleans Saints, fishing, and watching her favorite shows, I Love Lucy and The Three Stooges. She was very proud of her children and their accomplishments. An avid animal lover, she was always surrounded by her four-legged friends.  Services will be private.
