Paul Gregoire

Paul Elliot Gregoire passed away on Monday, June 29,2020 at the age of 79.  Paul passed peacefully with his wife Dolores of 37 years by his side. He was born on August 25, 1940 in Pumpkin Center, Louisiana to Leonard and Hazel Gregoire. He was a resident of St. Tammany Parish for 28 years, the last 13 of them being in Folsom where he retired from the Fairgrounds Racecourse as Superintendent and spent his time doing what he loved most, training thoroughbred racehorses.  He is preceded in death by his brother L.W. Gregoire, sister Mary Booty, daughter Paula Bernacki and grandson Chester Gregoire Gill.  He is survived and loved by his daughter Tressa Tantillo, step-daughter Danielle Bodin, step-son Wayne Couch, Jr., and nine grandchildren Stacie, Jon’, Jacob, Casey, Jamie, Taylor, Heather, Kaitlyn, and Olivia.  He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many, many beloved friends.  He will be remembered for his love of cooking for others and his kind and generous heart. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
