Pamela Guardina Zimmerman

Pamela Guardina Zimmerman passed away peacefully in her sleep, of Parkinson’s disease, in the early morning of December 25, 2023, at the age of 69. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Lois Ann Duehr and Anthony Leonardo Guardina, Sr. She is survived by her brother Anthony (Lenny) Guardina, Jr. (Sharon), sister Gaynell Pearson (Michael) and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew. 

Pamela was born in New Orleans, graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High in 1972, and graduated from Northeastern University in Monroe in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Pamela worked as a cardiac surgical nurse at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, La. for 32 years and was a member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses.
