Oscar "Red" Aaron Hopson

Oscar A. Hopson passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the age of 42. Born to parents Eddie and Bonnie Hopson (Macklemore) on March 11, 1982 in Haleyville, AL, he recently resided in Madisonville, LA.

Oscar spent his life working in the forestry industry as a tree climber. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Oscar is survived by his Wife, Amanda Hopson; Daughter, Amanda Sue 'Peanut'; Son, Nic Hopson; Sister, Krissy Dempsey; and Niece and Nephew, Shelby and Edward.

The family of Oscar asks for people to consider making a donation to provide a loving, proper Celebration of Life. Donations can be directly made to either the family or the funeral home.
