Nunzy “Jessie” James passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Slidell, LA, at the age of 84. Jessie was born on July 24, 1930 in Plaquemine, LA.
Beloved husband of Florence B. James. Father of Michael David James, Mark Carlo James, Sheila Fletcher, Sharon Sumner, and Shannon James. Son of the late Lena and Carlo James. Brother of Guy, Salvador, Johnny, Anthony, Carl, Carlo Jr., Rhodes, Vincent, George and Jack James, Mary Humphrey, Josephine Castillo and Annie Thibodeaux. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd., Slidell, LA 70461, on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11:30 am. Visitation at church from 9:30 am until service time.
