Nova Mauthe

Nova Chappell Mauthe, age 91, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Nova was born in Ozark, Arkansas on Friday, September 7, 1923 to the late Jo and Walter Chappell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mauthe, her daughter, Karen Mauthe; her siblings, Rector Chappell, Kittie McPherson, Neal Mattox, Meda Floyd Milburn, and Odell Chappell.
Nova is survived by two daughters, Joelle and Lynne Mauthe; four grandchildren, Erich Messmer, Maria Bertugno, Camille and Grace Willis; nieces and nephews, Barbara Reece, Chella Corey, Vince Chappell, Dell Stallings, Gary and Ken Mattox.
Nova was a graduate of Charity School of Nursing in 1947. She enjoyed an extensive career in nursing and in real estate.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Covington Presbyterian Church, 222 S. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 am.
