Norma Burrell

Norma Mathies Burrell entered eternal rest on March 1, 2021. A resident of Patterson, Louisiana, the beloved wife of late Roger Burrell; daughter of the late Julius Mathies and Claud Blau Mathies. Preceded in death by Charlotte Mathies, Rosemary Mathies, Julius Mathies, Claire Blow and Eugene Mathies. Survived by her step daughter, Sandra Anderson and her step-granddaughter, Ashley. Judy Mathies, John and Lisa Mathies and many nieces and nephews.

Norma was a registered nurse and a very kind and generous person.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon; one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in The Garden of Pines Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests; memorial masses in Norma’s name or donations may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank 700 Edwards Ave, New Orleans, LA 70123.
