Nicole Tremblay Starke, 81, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at her home in Covington, Louisiana. She was born in Montreal Canada to Albert and Lucette Tremblay.
Nicole married George in 1959 in Montreal, Canada. They were happily married for 56 years. Nicole enjoyed owning a gift shop in Baton Rouge and working at Hallmark in Covington where her vivacious sprit and distinctive accent captivated people. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed.
Nicole is survived by her husband George; her son Dr. Ulrich Starke (Jim Willoughby) of Covington, LA: her daughter Monica Humphreys (Chris Humphreys) of Destrehan, LA; her grandchildren Christopher Humphreys Jr.; and Alexandra Humphreys; her brother François and Jeanne Senecal-Tremblay.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435 The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Catholic Charities of America in Covington or to The American Heart Association.
