Nicholas Mizell, Sr.

Services celebrating the life of Nicholas Cory Scott Mizell, Sr., age 26, will be held on Thursday December 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Derek Dantin officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon prior to service time. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Nicholas was born December 19, 1993 in Covington, LA and passed away on November 26, 2020 in Franklinton, LA.

He is survived by his wife, Payton Bria Mizell; his son, Nicholas Cory Scott “NJ”Mizell, Jr.; his parents, Byron and Lois Young Mizell; siblings, Desireé Myrick, Megan Bedgood and husband Brod, Godfrey Mizell and wife Kimber, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Devon and Sarah Mizell and his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mandy Young.
