Mrs. Muriel L. Hall, age 86, went to her external home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Louis R. Hall; her parents, Richard and Jennie Korzendorfer, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louis and Nellie Hall, one grandson Richard Holden, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Cordie Korzendorfer, sister, Mary Lou Korzendorfer Miller. Muriel was born in in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 26, 1931 to Richard and Jennie Korzendorfer. She was a resident of Angie, LA. Muriel was married on August 21, 1951 to Louis Hall at Walter Reed Military Hospital Chapel in Washington D.C. She had career in the Federal Government Civil Service working in Washington D.C., Quantico, VA, New Orleans, & Chalmette (Michoud). She was a military wife, mother, and grandmother. She supported her husband who had career over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. Muriel loved to teach Sunday school and doing crafts with children. She enjoyed teaching and decorating for Vacation Bible School for many years. Her favorite hobbies were knitting, crocheting, cooking and reading. Muriel is survived by her son, Michael Hall of Angie, four daughters: Deborah (Chess) McNeese of Bogalusa, Sandra Carey of Denver, Colorado, Brenda (Robert) Mitchell of Richton, Mississippi and Linda (Jeffrey) Talley of Scottsdale, Arizona, 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great children, brother-in-law, Charles Miller of Virginia, Minnesota, Robert (Donna) Korzendorfer of Detroit, Minnesota, and Terry (Violet) Korzendorfer of Excelsior, Minnesota and devoted pets, Copper and Sassy II. Mrs. Hall’s family is very grateful and thankful to the physicians and staff of the Our Lady of the Angels Hospital of Bogalusa, Lakeview Regional Medical Center of Covington and Camellia Home Heath & Hospice of Bogalusa for their excellent care and compassion. We are also extremely grateful for the many years of loving care from Dr. H. K. Tabari and his staff.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Highland Baptist Church, 21022 Hwy 21N, Bogalusa LA 70427. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the Youth Fund of the Highland Baptist Church. Donations can be sent to the Treasurer, Highland Baptist Church, P.O. Box 777, Bogalusa LA 70429. Bagnell & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
