Monica Faye Terry born on June 26, 1978 to the late LW and Mary Terry. She was raised by parents Charles and Lynn Williby in Bluefield, West Virginia where she lived until joining the U.S military. Monica went on to serve her country for three years in the U.S. Army as a Biomedical Equipment Specialists.
After this time, Monica ventured out and did some traveling before settling down in her primary place of residence in the New Orleans area. It was here that she followed her true passion, dedicating her life to the love she had for animals. The unwavering and selfless love she bestowed for animals began at very young age and is just one of the notable qualities she carried with her into adulthood. It was those qualities and her kind heart that led her to rescuing many animals in her lifetime and providing them with a safe and nurturing home. At the time of her passing, she was able to leave this world with that love as she was comforted by her two dogs by her side, Nobi and Olive. In addition to being an animal lover, it was that same sweet heart that effortlessly made her an amazing friend, sister and aunt. Monica adored her family and friends and never failed to bring love and light into their lives. Monica is survived by her siblings; Angela Emmerson , Matthew Williby, Christina Williby, and Carolyn Harkness, her mother Lynn Williby, her nieces; Amanda Shrader, Emily Toler, Brianna Williby, Leah Harkness, and Hannah Whitt and her nephews; Jordan Whitt, Jake Harkness, and Knox Harkness. She is preceded in death by her biological parents and her father Charles Williby.
