Michael Sampson

Michael Steven Sampson died unexpectedly at home in Pearl River, Louisiana on September 16, 2017 at the age of 40.

He is survived by his parents Michael D.and Denise Sampson of Cottonwood, California; his birth mother Kathleen Glynn Coludrovich (married to Earl J Coludrovich III) of Sugarland, Texas; brother Earl J Coludrovich IV of Sugarland, Texas; maternal grandmother Audrey Glynn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially Sally Fuller. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Leo Stanilaus Glynn, who will proudly greet him at the gates of heaven, among many more family and friends.

Michael was born in New Orleans, LA on July 22, 1977 where he resided for most of his life before moving to California. He attended Andrew Jackson High School before proudly completing EMT program at Delgado Community College. He lived his life loyal to his family and friends, a devoted Saints fan, always ready to help anyone anyway he could.

A funeral service will be held at Bagnell and Sons Funeral Home in Covington, LA on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.  Visitation will begin at 9am and service will start at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations please be made to the “Brain Trauma Foundation” (at braintrauma.org) to help fund research on the management of traumatic brain injuries.
