Michael Paul Restivo

Michael “Mike” Paul Restivo 61, went to be with the Heavenly Angels on April 17, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.  Mike was born January 15, 1959 in New Orleans to Ronald Raymond and Ella Mae Restivo.  He was a resident of Jefferson, Louisiana and Lumberton, Mississippi.  Mike was a diesel mechanic for 37 years for Jefferson Transit (Transdev).  He was passionate about his classic cars and his motorcycle.  Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jesselyn Neely Restivo,  his two daughters Rachael Restivo Gros (Geoffrey) and Stephanie Mae Restivo as well as his three grandchildren Zachrey Ray and Abigail Nichole Gros, Elliana Catherine Restivo.  His mother Ella Mae, two brothers, five sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father Ronald Raymond Restivo and in-laws Billy Warren and Mary Catherine Neely. Private services and burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Abbey in Covington, Louisiana.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later time.
