On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, Michael Anthony Nobile Sr., was called home to our Heavenly Father. Born in Elkton, Maryland but a lifetime resident of Louisiana. So affectionately called, “Mike”, grew up in New Orleans and was a long-time member of the EMS community. He was a Nationally Registered Paramedic and devoted his life to public service and caring for others. Even after retirement from the New Orleans Health Department, he continued to care for others as an Emergency Department Technician at Slidell Memorial Hospital, where in his part time, he taught dancing lessons to many! Mike was an adventurer who had many interests and hobbies. He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and ride his motorcycles. He was an animal lover and loved the companionship a pet brings. He was a true New Orleans Saints fan and loved telling exciting stories. He lived 1000 years in his 67 calendar years and had the knowledge to capture any audience. Mike is survived by his children, Micaela A. Nobile, and Michael A. Nobile Jr. He is also survived by his sisters, Lucille Nobile-Perry, and Marilyn Nobile. He will be sadly missed by the many he touched and those who knew him best. A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 28, 2021 from 1:30-2:30pm with the Prayer Service beginning at 2:30pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Slidell, LA to celebrate his life.
