Michael Cotton, Sr.

Michael J. Cotton, Sr. of Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age of 71. He was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on October 28, 1949. He was married to Connie Cotton on April 16, 2011. Michael had a passion for High School Football. He is survived by his son Michael Cotton (Erica) of Covington, Louisiana, his daughter Shanna Cotton of Bogalusa, Louisiana and his sister-in-law Debbie Cotton of Bogalusa, Louisiana. Michael is also survived by his grandchildren; Micaela Cotton, Nicholas Cotton, Steven Cotton, Amber Chaflant and Abigail Welch. Also, a very special friend Mr. Johnny D. Crain and numerous cousins, nephews and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Houston “Skip” Cotton and Jessie Rae Cotton, his brothers, Houston “Doy” Cotton, Donnie Cotton, Ronald “Ronnie” Cotton, Richard Dale Cotton and sisters; Maveline Miller and Sheila Wheat. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Lee Hill Church 11001 Lee Settlement Road, Folsom, Louisiana on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. with eulogy at 6:30 p.m.
