Matushka Patricia Healy Brown was born in New Orleans, LA., on November 4, 1945. Mrs. Brown fell asleep in the Lord on April 29, 2021, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Archbishop David Raymond Brown, her son Tasso “Tiger” Taylor, III, (Liz). She is also survived by her grandson Tasso Taylor IV (Amy) and her granddaughter Jessica Farris, along with four great granddaughters, Sara, Mary, Ava, and Allie. Mrs Brown is also survived by two sisters Erin Navo (Daniel) and Wendy Hutzler (James), nieces, nephews, and cousins, one of whom she is especially close to, Michael Fleming Jackson.
Mrs. Brown is proceeded in death by her father and mother, Edward and Hilda Healy of New Orleans, LA.
Mrs. Brown will be missed by her family and friends who will take great comfort in the fact that she now has a new home in heaven where there shall be no more death, no sorrow, no crying, and neither shall there be any more pain. Mrs. Brown is now free of pain, rejoicing in the Lord. Memories Eternal
Family and friends are invited to attend a Liturgy of the word on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Johns Orthodox Church 20043 LA-36, Covington, LA 70433 at 10:30 a.m. with internment to follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana 70435.
