Mary Torina

Mary Ann Torina passed away peacefully at the age of 72 with her family on Tuesday, May 17 ^th , 2016. Born in New Orleans, lived in New Orleans and a resident of Covington for the last 50 years. Beloved wife of Carlo Torina. Mother to Mark Carlisle and Renee Torina. Sister to Billy “Butch” Parker and Flo (wife), Bobby Parker and Mildred, niece Rhonda and nephew Jamie. Sister, June and LV Kane.  Grandma to Mark Carlisle Jr and Lindsey. Great Grandma to Brayden, Jordan, Melvin and Adrian. Her Sister in Laws, Annie Kastner and Frances Baldridge.  Preceded by her husband, Carlo Torina, her parents, Ann and Warren G Parker.

Also survived by a hosts of nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Graduate of East Jefferson High School and a parishioner of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday May 21 ^st , 2016 at 11:00am at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Road, Covington, LA. Visitation will be from 8:30am until 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, St. Joseph Abbey and Hospice Foundation of the South, 501 Robert Blvd, Slidell, LA 70458
