Mary Louise Luke Knipe passed away on Sunday July 2, 2017 in Covington, LA at the age of 81. Mary Lou was born on April 15, 1936 to Maud Marie Roundtree and Lenzey Frank Luke Sr. in Aruba, N.W.I. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Arthur” Pete” Hagan Knipe III. Mother of the late Brian D. Knipe, Sister of the late Doris Kuhn, Shirley Murphy, Marion “Grace” Luke, Lenzey Luke, Jr. Rose Willis, and Gerald Luke.
Mother of David L. Knipe (the Late Julie Knipe), Arthur ”Archie” Knipe IV, Lenzey C. Knipe (Susan) and mother –in –law of Robin Knipe, sister to James Luke (Blanche), Hazel Calcote (Billy), Sister in law of Ann Luke and Ronald Willis. Grandmother of Aubri Benton, Melanie Hood, Justin Knipe, Ryan Knipe, Kristen Knipe, Sean Knipe. Also survived by eight great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm until service time. Interment will be private.
