Mary Folks

Mary Juanita Dawson Folks died Wednesday, March, 2017 at her home.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Haskel "Lee" Folks of 30 years of marriage. Her sons: Haskel and Patrick; step children Crystal and Shawn; grand children Tiffany, Lexus, Shaun, Mackenzie, Bentley and great grandchild Kaydn. Also, Mary is survived by her mother Sue Dawson, her sisters Stephanie and Brenda, and her brother Bill.  Mary was also and survived by her extended family her sister in laws: Mary, Sharon, Terry, Julie and Goldie, and her brother in laws Lavern and Earl.  Mary grew up in California where she spent most of her young adult life; before moving to Topeka, Kansas when her husband was transferred.  In 2014 She moved with her family to Lacombe (St. Tammany Parish) Louisiana where she lived out the reminder of her time in peace enjoying their pets and the native wildlife from their back porch.
