Mary Authement

In Loving Memory of Mary Oalmann Authement, 65, of Lacombe, La., passed away  February 2, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. A Loving Wife Mother and Grandmother Mary was born March 31,1952 in Bogalusa, La.,She was a graduate of Covington High School..

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Authement, her parents William F. and Sammie Eugenia Oalmann, and her sister Ruth Oalmann Baldock She is survived by her five children, Roy Spinks, Jr. and wife Ella of Mandeville, Jennifer Simmons of Covington, William Holliday of Madisonville, Robin Holliday of Lacombe and Caleb Authement of Pontchatoula; three siblings, Margaret (Sue) Palmisano of Folsom, Bill Oalmann of St. Petersburg, FL, and Ralph Oalmann and wife Maxine of Covington; five grandchildren, Garrett and Gentry Spinks, Logan Simmons, and Ashlyn and Trent Holliday.Mary was an avid animal lover she raised horses and dogs throughout her life.  She also was an artist; with many of her drawings and paintings reproduced onto clothing, stationary and collectible items.  Mary’s greatest joy, of course, was her family.The family would like to thank Mel Lein, Sarah Paysse, Dawn Alphonso, Pam Broussard, Elaine Culpepper, Ron Kassner and Passage Hospice Nurses for their care and support during her time of illness.
