Mark Walch

Mark Joseph Walch, 56 years of age, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017.  Mark was born on June 7, 1961 and was the youngest of five.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walch and Ruth Walch (Cheatham); brothers Darrel Walch and Charles Walch.  He is survived by siblings Marsha Wilson (Walch) and John Walch; Daughters Kristen Walch, Jessica Walch and Gabrielle Walch; grandchildren Gracen Bolner and Matthew Morales.  He was a plumber in the New Orleans area for over thirty years.  Mark was always there to help family and friends with plumbing as well as any other help that was needed.  He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, watching sports and watching Nascar races.  Dale Earnhardt was his favorite racer.  Mark was an amazing person and always filled with laughter, even through his sickness.  He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father and devoted friend.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Christ Anglican Catholic Church, 4316 N Woodlawn Ave in Metairie on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 9 AM.  A memorial celebration of his life will follow.  Interment to follow service at Greenwood Cemetary, where his cremains will be placed alongside his parents.
