Marjorie Hubbard

Marjorie Lou Hubbard, 93, of Covington LA passed away on December 7th , 2022. She was born in Walla Walla, Washington and was the only child of John Green and Ruth Southerland Langdon. Marjorie was a resident of Avanti Senior Living in Covington, LA at the time of her death. Prior to moving to Covington in 2014, she was a long-time resident of Myrtle Beach, SC. Marjorie was devoted to raising her six children and loving her many pets. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter Debra A. McDowell, of Quincy, MA. She is survived by sons Craig Hubbard and wife Janet of Covington, LA. and grandchildren Ethan and Anna, Charles W. (Charlie) Hubbard of Reedville, VA., Charles McDowell, (son-in-law) of Quincy, MA. and grandchildren Mathew, Mandy and Kathleen, John Hubbard and wife Mary of Greenville, SC.; by daughters Arlyn Medell and husband Philip of Haymarket, VA. and grandchild Kira, and Margie Jenkins and husband Hilary of Fredricksburg, VA. and grandchildren Jessica, Trevor, and Jenny. The family is full of gratitude and love for Ms. Charlette and the ladies of “Charlette’s Hands That Care”. They treated Marjorie like family and provided superb daily care for her for the past two and a half years. Marjorie also received wonderful care from the staff of Avanti Senior Living and the staff and nurses of Passages Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. A Service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM. The Service will be officiated by Pastor Paul E. Smith of Life Church.
