Marilyn Ann Oswald Locascio was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on October 6, 1938. She went Safely Home to be with the Lord on the morning of August 31, 2017. Her memory will live on in her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her fabulous cooking including her Oyster Dressing and Gumbo. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, James T. Locascio, her children, Joseph T. Locascio (Susan), Lorrie Locascio Worthy (Edmund), James T. Locascio (David R. Gonzales), her grandchildren, Kaitlin L. Locascio, J. Kyle Locascio, Amanda Worthy Briganti (Edward), Ashley Worthy Brewer (Heather), and her great grandchild, Julia Ann Briganti. She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Oswald Sabatier, and her parents, Hazel Alexander Oswald, and Alcee N. Oswald. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Pontchartrain Nursing Home, St. Tammany Hospice, and Heritage Manor. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Marilyn’s name to the American Cancer Society.
