Marilyn Maggio Marlbrough, age 87, passed away peacefully November 13, 2019. Marilyn was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Leon J. Maggio, Sr. and Josephine R. Maggio. Marilyn entered into eternal life to join her loving husband, Lloyd J. Marlbrough, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Talbot and her brother, Leon J. Maggio, Jr. Marilyn is survived by her children; Susan Marlbrough Hindman (Deen Hindman), Lloyd J. Marlbrough, Jr. and  Steven Marlbrough (Jimmy Hand), her sister Rosalie McCants, her cousin Rose Legier, grandsons; Peter D. Hindman (Dionne DeLancey), Timothy L. Hindman (Andria Bergeron) and Matthew Hindman (Brittany Stevens).  Marilyn is also survived by her great-granddaughters; Hailey Loy (Micah Loy), Molly Mae, Dannie Lee, Lainey Jean, Madison Lynne, Katie Deen, soon to be Amelia Rose, her great-great-granddaughters; Luella Sue Loy and Dakota Loy. Marilyn Maggio Marlbrough retired after 26 years as a Branch manager and Assistant Vice President at Dryades Savings and Loan. After retirement Marilyn enjoyed volunteering at West Jefferson Medical Center.  The family would like to give thanks to the staff of Willow Wood at Woldenberg Village and Heart of Hospice for exceptional care. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Melanie Ross, LaQuita Sartin, Barbara Bailey, Linda Jones, Janice Williams and Joyce Simon for the love and care. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, November 18, 2019 at St. Andrew the Apostle Church 3101 Eton Street New Orleans, Louisiana 70131 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Garden Cemetery 1225 Whitney Avenue Gretna, Louisiana 70056.
