Marilyn Jenkins

Marilyn Beatrice Jenkins of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on Sunday May 22, 2022 at the age of 73. Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband John R. Jenkins, Jr., her children; Jeffery Scott Lawrence, Sr. (Arlene), John R. Jenkins III and Sarah B. Lampo (Jeremiah). She also leaves behind her siblings, Monroe Boone and Janet Margaret Smith, as well as her grandchildren; Jeffery Lawrence, Jacob Carpenter, Jordan Lawrence, Jamie Lawrence, Chase Lampo, Morgan Carpenter and Caitlyn Lampo.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin M. Boone and Loucrotia Rayborne Boone, her daughter Connie Paulette Carpenter, her siblings; Billie Sue Bucsh, Jeanne Holland, Lorece Tindell, Ruby Sue Ducote, Joyce Johnson, Alvin Boone and Illa Jean Villilon.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and ST. Tammany Sheriffs Association.

Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, birdwatching and gardening.

A private service will be held at a later date.
