Margaret “Margie” Ann King, née McCarron

Margaret (Margie) Ann King, née McCarron passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 79 showered with love by her sons and daughters.

For those of you fortunate enough to know Margie, she talked you under the table, gave you the coat off her back, and thought no joke was immune to her laugh.

She assisted Hospice patients at their homes with love and compassion for over twenty years providing them dignity and meaning until their last breaths on Earth.

Margie smiled at death, each time it made its presence known throughout her life. She marched to the beat of her own drum, but brought her band to anyone in their time of need. 

Margie is preceded in death by her late husbands Joe Whittington, Thomas “Tom” King, Father Richard “Mac” McComb and Mother Loretta McComb.

She is survived by her Children, Jeff (Glenna), Dawn (Aaron), Frank (Nicole), Tom (Angela), Brian, Sunny, Helena. Brothers and Sisters: Lolly, Rene, Kem, Jenny, Wayne, 11 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
