Malissa Porter Boos of Abita Springs passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from NOCCA and Andrew Jackson High School. Also, received her LPN License from Elaine P. Nunez College. She is survived by her children: Brett Boos Jr., Brianne Boos, and Blake Boos, a grandchild Brett Boos III. Also by parents Lester and Dolores Porter and her loving sister Jennifer Porter (nieces and nephew: Heather, Lily, and Alani). Malissa served in the health care profession as an LPN for Dr. Iteld and Dr. Samuel. Malissa's talent and passion for painting and drawing she was truly fond of and will be missed. A Memorial Mass will be held at: St. Jane de Chantel 72040 Maple St, Abita Springs, LA 70420 on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1: 00P.M. visitation at 12:30. A reception to follow Memorial Mass.
