Lydia Lynn Donaldson

Lydia Lynn Donaldson, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, was born on September 9,  1952, and peacefully passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 71. She now  rests in eternal peace alongside her late spouse, Proveaux Armstrong Donaldson. 

Lydia was the beloved daughter of Walter A Lozier and Thelma Ann Lawson Arbour,  both of whom have preceded her in death. She is survived by her devoted children,  Millisa Ann Guepet Wade and her loving spouse Dennis Wade, as well as Jeffery Lee  Guepet and his caring spouse Kim Guepet. 

Lydia was a cherished sibling, leaving behind her siblings Peggy Lozier Cangelosi,  Connie Lozier Adcock and her spouse Jimmy Adcock, and Terry Lozier and his loving  spouse Susan Lozier. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Ralph Lozier,  Germaine Ann Lozier Call, and Carl Anthony Lozier. 

Lydia was a doting grandmother to Casey Marie Guepet Honea and her spouse  Robert Honea, Sr., Brandon Lee Guepet, Jason Paul Guepet, Kaitlyn Elizabeth  Guepet, Lauren Wade, and Taylor Wade. Her legacy continued with her great grandchildren, Robert Honea, Jr., Madyson Jones, and Peter Martinez. 

Lydia's radiant, big smile was a source of joy for all who knew her. She cherished her  friends at the Ponchatoula Community Care Center, where she enjoyed their lively  Bingo games. Her creative spirit shone through her involvement in arts and crafts. 

In accordance with her wishes, no public service will be held. Lydia will be  remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend  who brought happiness to the lives of those around her. She will be dearly missed  and forever cherished. 

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
