Louise Marcello

Louise Marcello passed away peacefully in her home on June 7, 2023 at 10:30am at the age of 68 surrounded by her friends and family.

Louise, or “Weezy” as she was known to many closest to her, was originally from New Orleans. She had a big personality, loved with all her heart, and had a smile that lit up the whole world. She was always the funniest, loudest person in the room, and was never at a loss for words in any situation. Cooking was her love-language and she loved to cook for everybody in her life.

She is survived by one biological daughter, Victoria Wells, but was a significant mother figure to Ashley Rousse as well as her stepson Jeffrey Gerrard Crossland. Often times, she was more a source of mischief than the kids she cared for. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Kaylin Wells, her sister-in-laws, Darlene Marcello and Wanda Marcello, her nephews, Samuel “lil sam” Marcello, Jeremy Marcello, and Joseph Marcello IV, and her two busy grandsons, Ronin Wells and Lucah Wells, who adored her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anastasia Cuccia Macello and Joseph Marcello II, her brothers Joseph Marcello III and Samuel Marcello, and her stepson, Jeffrey Gerrard Crossland II.

A Celebration of her life will be at 20213 High Plains Dr. Zachary, LA on June 17, 2023 at 1pm with friends
and family.
