Lotus Lynch

Lotus L. Lynch, 77, died October 13, 2022, at St. Tammany Parish hospital. She was born July 17, 1945, in New Orleans. Lotus graduated from John McDonogh High School, class of 1963. After
graduation, Lotus attended Southeastern Louisiana College and was recognized as one of the first women of oriental descent to attend the college. Lotus was a loving mother to Lotus “Angel” B. Lee (Dellwood), Olga “Michelle” Lynch Wedge (Daniel, III), and Timothy Gerard Lynch, Jr. (Carys). She was a devout Christian and an avid reader. Lotus was preceded in death by her mother, Anna DellaValle Ledbetter, father, Joseph K. WongChoy, her stepfather, Harry H. Ledbetter, Sr., her devoted aunt, Olga D. Pichon, and uncle, Walter Pichon. In addition, she was preceded by her
brother, Joseph K WongChoy, and sister, Adra L. Johnson. She is survived by her children, her sisters- MaeLin W. Reugger (Jerry), O. Catherine Ledbetter (Jr. Cutrer), Theresa L. Bruhl (Tommy), and her brother- Harry H. Ledbetter, Jr; her grandchildren- Frank D. Lee, III (Elise), Daniel G. Wedge, IV, Timothy G. Lynch, III, and Adalind M. Lynch; her great-granchildren – Wyatt R. Bear and Alexandra K. Lee; and her God-daughter, Danita H. Trainor (Randall). She is also well loved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service in remembrance of Lotus, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Savannah Branch Church of God, 11067 Hwy 1078 (Bennett Bridge Road), Folsom, Louisiana. Arrangements by Bagnell & Sons Funeral Home.
