Lorron "Paul" Hidalgo

Lorron “Paul” Hidalgo a beloved husband, father, brother and son, of Covington, Louisiana passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 63.

Paul was a family man, with a passion for watching his grandchildren playing and spending as much time with his family as he could. He enjoyed watching football and politics, with an interest in hot rods, muscle cars and listening to classic rock.

He leaves behind to cherish his fond memories, his loving wife Shirley “Mary” Hidalgo, his father John A. Hidalgo, Sr., his children; Sarah E. Hidalgo, Meggan H. Garrick (Jessie), Tyler C. Hidalgo, his siblings Sandra H. Avant and John A. Hidalgo, Jr. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was the proud God Father to his niece Caitlyn who was an angel to him throughout his illness.

Paul is preceded in death by his mother Shirley E. Hidalgo and his son Collin M. Hidalgo.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Brother Clark Stewart to officiate services. Burial to follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery where he will be laid to eternal rest beside his son Collin.
