Lori Laviolette Brown

Lori Laviolette Brown, age 56, passed away peacefully in her sleep after battling cancer on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 with her family by her side at her home in Abita Springs, Louisiana.
Lori was born on January 22, 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward Laviolette Sr. and Lois “Debbie” Laviolette. She was raised in Metairie, Louisiana and attended Grace King High School. Lori married Stephen “Steve” Brown on June 15, 1979 in Metairie, Louisiana.
Lori and Steve moved to Sandy Springs, South Carolina shortly after they got married, where Lori worked for over 18 years as a Plant Manager for Yoder Brothers. After returning to Louisiana, Lori worked as a Restaurant Manager at Fazzio’s Italian Restaurant, and thereafter as an Office Manager of DA Exterminating for over 15 years. Lori was a hard worker at all of her jobs, but her most important and beloved job was being a mom to her 2 children and “Nana” to her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Steve;
daughters, Lisa Ruffino (Louis “Parker”) and Christie Delrie (Randall)
a brother, Edward Laviolette Jr.; a sister, Charleen Gustafson; and granddaughter, Lexi Ruffino.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Lori influenced and touched are invited to attend a visitation and funeral service at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017
