Lloyd Joseph Marlbrough Jr, age 69, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024.

Lloyd was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lloyd J. Marlbrough Sr., and Marilyn Maggio Marlbrough.

Lloyd is survived by his sister Susan Marlbrough Hindman (Deen Hindman) and by his brother Steven Marlbrough (Jimmy Hand), as well as his cousin, Rose Legier, and nephews Peter D. Hindman, Timothy L. Hindman (Andria Bergeron), and Matthew L. Hindman (Brittany Stevens). Lloyd is also survived by his great nieces, Hailey Hindman (Tyler Picone), Molly Mae, Dannie Lee, Lainey Jean, Madison Lynne, Katie Deen, and Amelia Rose Hindman, a great-great niece Luella Sue Loy and great-great nephew Atticus Deen Picone.

The family would like to give thanks to the staff of Jo Ellen Smith Living Center for the exceptional care they provided.

Lloyd enjoyed fishing, watching the Saints play and living in Lafitte. He also enjoyed listening to music with a love for Elvis, watching Westerns, especially Gunsmoke, working with computers, and even loved big hair when it was fashionable. He also had a love for animals, from iguanas to cats and dogs.

He loved his family immensely and will be forever missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrews the Apostle Church 3101 Eton Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70131. Burial to follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
