Linda Jenkins

Linda Dutruch Jenkins, 73 years old of Covington, Louisiana went to be with her Lord on December 14th, of 2020. She was born in Covington, Louisiana on February 8th 1947. Linda graduated from Covington High School. She was married to Donald Wayne Jenkins on May 28th 1970. Linda worked at home as a dedicated wife to her husband and mother to her children. She also served tirelessly in her church teaching Sunday school, doing book keeping and playing her beloved piano and organ.

She had a passion for serving the Lord through playing music and leading praise and worship. She also loved to serve her friends, family and neighbors through her amazing gift of hospitality.

She is survived by her husband Donald Jenkins, her sons Jason and Devin Jenkins (Caryn), her siblings; Ester Dutruch and Clyde Dutruch (Catherine) as well as her  grandchildren Savannah Jenkins, Rylee Jenkins, Pierce Jenkins and Addison Jenkins. Linda is preceded in death by her siblings Elaine Sharpe and Frank Dutruch. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Shepherds Care Church 20115 LA-1081, Covington, LA 70435 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment to follow in the Barker McManus Cemetery.
