Lillie Matherne

Lillie May Mullen Matherne was born December 4, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away on May 30th, 2022, in Ohio at the age of 79.
Lillie loved being a wife and mother. She enjoyed sewing, Christmas, drinking hot tea while watching Days of Our Lives, telling stories about her younger years and she absolutely loved family.
Lillie was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Freddie Matherne Sr. And her oldest daughter, Kimbly Matherne Stanovich (T.M.).  She is survived by her other 3 children, Timothy Matherne (Lora), Fred Matherne Jr. (Eddie Rome) and Elizabeth Matherne Jays (Mike). Her love of family makes it fitting that she is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her 10 amazing Grandchildren as well as many Great- grandchildren and a sprinkling of Great-Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Celebration of Life for Lillie May Mullen Matherne  will be held for family and friends on Saturday, June 25th at 2:00 in the afternoon at 23701 Hills Rd. Holden, La. 70744.
