Leonard “Lenny” Fred Luc, Sr. passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at his residence in Hammond, LA, at the age of 47.
Lenny was born on Saturday, January 7, 1967 in New Orleans, LA, to Linadine “Deanie” Gaudet Luc and Dale M. Luc, Sr. He resided in Chalmette, LA until August, 2005.
Survived by his children, Mandi E. Luc Hugeut (Matt), Leonard F. Luc, Jr., and Nikki L. Luc; his grandchildren, Caison L. Gilbert and Riley Powers; his brothers, Dale M. Luc, Jr. (Jim) and Jeffery C. Luc, Sr. (Chrissy); his sisters, Connie Luc Collins (Jody), Donna Luc Papania, and Karen Luc Long (Richard); his stepmother, Cherie Luc; his fiancé, Theresa Johnson and her children; and lifelong dear friends, Thomas M. Grey (Tammy) and the Grey family. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Lenny enjoyed fishing, playing golf, watching sports, and camping.
Lenny’s made his career in Automotive Parts Management as the Parts and Service Director in the New Orleans Metro Gulf Coast Area for the Ford Motor Company from 1986 to 2012 with past employers that include; Bill Watson Ford, Lamarque Ford, Lamarque Northshore Ford, Amite City Ford, Marshall Bro Lincoln Mercury, Dub Herring Ford in Picayune, MS and Banner Ford in Mandeville LA and his most recent employer, John Deere since 2012.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Celebration of Life in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until service time.
