Leonard Casey

Leonard Irwin Casey Sr., a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 88 in Alvin, Texas surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas James and Josephine Lucille Casey, two brothers; Ronald T. Casey and Thomas J. Casey. He is survived by his loving wife Edwina Lambert Casey of Alvin, Texas, his children; Leonard I. Casey, Jr., Paul Lambert Casey, Patrick Barre Casey, Mary Casey Soderberg and Juliana C. Daugherty, his brother; Edgar Casey as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leonard was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Grand Knight of 2 councils.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Abbey 75376 River Road Covington, Louisiana visitation at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Interment to follow at the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.  In leu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
