Leon Eugene Zilbermann

Leon Eugene Zilbermann entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the age of 81. Leon was born August 16, 1942, the son of Rene David and Ruby Nell (Burchis) Zilbermann in New Orleans. He married the love of his life, Eloise Lambert on November 8, 1963 in New Orleans. They were married for 52 years. 

He is survived by, daughter Wendy Libby (Ricky, Jr.), grandchildren, Christine Heinen (Cole), Ricky Libby III, Katelyn Libby and Hannah Libby, and great-grandchildren Micah Bulgrin, Sammi Heinen, Luke Heinen and Eli Libby. Leon is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

He is preceded into the Kingdom by his parents, his wife and a daughter, Sandra Ruby Zilbermann in 1966. 

Most of all Leon loved his faith and family. Some of his past time hobbies included  a love for fishing, barbequing, and he was also a proud owner of L&E Label services.  .

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on August 2, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at the New Convenant Followship 3830 Williams Blvd. Kenner, Louisiana 70065.
