Karen Bohley Beehler

Karen Bohley Beehler, 66, passed away on Friday, June 21 st , 2024 at Hospice House in Slidell, Louisiana. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends. 

Karen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 1, 1957 and later moved to Louisiana as a teenager where she created a beautiful life. She spent most of her adult years selflessly caring for everyone around her. Karen worked in childcare, where she made an everlasting impact on families of both typical and special needs children. Nothing brought her more joy than her 6 grandchildren. She spent her last 21 years supporting each one of them in whatever journey they embarked on. Karen’s passion as a mother and grandmother will never be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to love her. 

Karen is survived by two children, Eric Beehler (Christina) and Jennifer Beehler (Jeff); siblings, Robert Bohley (Melissa), Michele Saucier (Mike) and Lisa Leblanc (Ray); 5 grandchildren, Trey Rodrigue, Hannah Voss, Camden Beehler, Leighton Landry and Sidney Landry; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Karl P Beehler; daughter, Stefanie Voss; granddaughter, Esme Beehler; parents, Mary Lou Chrisman and Robert Bohley; stepfather, Al Chrisman; nephew, Kurt Beehler.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on June 27, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435.
