Justin Conway Knoblauch

Justin Conway Knoblauch, age 35, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 22, 2024, surrounded by love at his mother’s home, at approximately 2am, after a two year battle with ALS (Lou Gerhig’s Disease).  

Justin was born on December 31, 1988 and lived in Abita Springs, LA most of his life. He attended Fontainebleau High School. Justin is the son of Matthew “Chris” Knoblauch (Linda) and Gaynell Murtagh Greig (Reginald).  He is survived by his parents, siblings - Jordan Knoblauch (Lauren), Angela Ledet (Daniel), Stevin Lacoste (Jennifer), and Albert Greig. Also survived by his niece Elliana, and nephews Isaiah and Finnley, as well as his Grandy, Beverly Gilly, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Joyce Murtagh, Matthew and Barbara Knoblauch, and Maurice Gilly, as well as his nephew Noah Ledet.  

Justin never met a stranger and he never forgot a soul. He had a smile that could light up a room. He loved mealtime and the last thing he ate was always the best thing he ever had! Justin loved country music, his iPhone, and was a huge fan of WWE wrestling, but mostly, he fiercely loved his family.  He will be so missed.

Family and friends are invited to Justin’s Celebration of Life on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at The Fleur De Lis Center in Mandeville  from 11am - 2pm. Special thanks to Evergreen Ministries and St. Joseph Hospice for caring for Justin in his time of need. Funeral arrangements are handled by Bagnell Funeral Home.
