Julia Faye Crawford Lavigne Langlois, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born on April 3, 1940, in Archibald, LA, and graduated from Ponchatoula High School. Julia (Judy Faye) retired as secretary for the Extension Service and LSU AgCenter. She loved cross-stitching, crocheting, and being with family and friends. She loved spending holidays in Rayville, LA, where all the family would gather and enjoyed watching Bill Gaither homecoming concert videos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Gladys Crawford; brothers, Jackie, David, Gene and Jerry Crawford; her sister, Esther C. Meggison; husband, Earl Lavigne; and sons, James Earl and Chris Lavigne.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Langlois of Pensacola, Florida; daughter and son-n-law, Joanna and Kevin Leonard of Covington, LA and daughters-n-law, Karen K. Lavigne and Christine Lavigne of Covington, LA; two sisters, Darlene Maklary (Willie) of Covington, LA, Dorcas Joyner of Cleveland, TN, and brother Rev. J. Darryl Crawford (Ann) of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Mason Leonard (Chelsea), Kathan Leonard, Jaden Leonard, Magon Lavigne and Taylor Lavigne; great-grandchildren, Wren Leonard and Jaymes-Ellen Lavigne; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be he held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Shepherd's Care Ministries, 20115 Louisiana 1081 (Stafford Road), Covington, LA 70435.
