Judith B. Bourgeois

Judith Clare “Judi” Bourgeois, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 71.

Judi leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years Tom Bourgeois, her children Regina Clare Bourgeois Smith (Shawn), Matthew Bourgeois (Kristen), as well as her cherished grandchildren; Cecilia Clare Smith, Nathanael Bourgeois, Benedict Bourgeois and Rosalie Clare Bourgeois.

She is preceded in death by her parents Judge Matthew S. Braniff and Edna Clare Braniff.

Judi was a member of the Center of Jesus the Lord and CCRNO. She was a foodie, an internet pioneer, an incredible cook, domestic goddess and a loving Mama to all.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435. On Thursday January 18, 2024 family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at 10:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church. Burial to follow in the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
