Juanita "Bonnie" Galloway Prats

Juanita “Bonnie” Prats, age 87 of Covington, Louisiana, entered rest peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Enon, Louisiana to the late Emira and Emma Galloway. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bobby” Prats Sr. for 66 years. She leaves behind her beloved children Mary McGeorge, Robert “Ray” Prats Jr, and Donald Prats, her nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Emira and Emma Galloway, her loving husband, Robert “Bobby” Prats Sr., her sisters Theresa and Barbara Galloway, as well as her brother Ronald Galloway. 

She was a native of Washington, Parish and a longtime resident of Covington, Louisiana. 

Bonnie graduated from Enon High School, after graduations she married the love of her life, Robert “Bobby” Prats Sr.

Bonnie retired from a long career at Walmart. She enjoyed tending to her gardens, which she had a masterful green thumb. When she wasn’t gardening, she loved to quilt. Family and friends were given one of her quilts to treasure always. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, November 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in the Isabel Cemetery 53674 Parker Rd N, Bogalusa, LA 70427.
