Joseph J. Dash Jr. age 89, passed away on September 4, 2016 from complications due to a stroke and is most missed by his Lap Dog and Companion “Terrian”. Beloved uncle of Diane Sultzer, Merry Jenkins, Rickey Mizell and Alan Mizell. Joseph also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Henry Dash Sr., mother Octavia Dash and twin sister Josephine Mizell. Joseph retired as a park ranger at Fontainebleau State Park. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of V.F.W. post 8720 and a member of the American Legion. Joseph was a lifelong resident of the Mandeville and Abita Springs Area.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Lee Road, Covington LA 70433. Visitation from 9:00 A.M. until Service time. Internment at Mandeville City Cemetery.
